Robyn Schneider grew up in Orange County, California, where she spent a dissolute childhood listening to 80’s rock, reading a good deal of Vonnegut, and penning novels that were set far, far away from the idyllic gated communities and shopping malls of her hometown.

She recently graduated from Columbia University (Barnard College) with a B.A. in English/Creative writing, and will begin studying toward her Masters of Biomedical Ethics degree at UPenn in the fall.  She is the author of two acclaimed books for teenagers: Better Than Yesterday and The Social Climber’s Guide to High School.  Robyn currently lives in London, England, where she is hard at work writing a series of fantasy novels under a ridiculous pseudonym.
